The touchdowns came fast and furious Friday night as the Turkey Valley football team (3-2, 3-0 district) defeated East Buchanan (1-4, 0-3 district) 62-8 Friday night on homecoming.

The Trojans scored a touchdown in the first 103 seconds and piled on 32 points in the first quarter on the way to their third victory in a row.

High-powered offense

The Trojan offense rolled up the yards and scores Friday night. They took the ball on the opening kickoff and went down the field in five plays, scoring on a 22-yard run by homecoming king Eric Buckendahl. The two-point play was converted by Luke Kuennen, making it 8-0 with 10:17 left in the first quarter.

It was a quick series on defense for the Trojans, getting the ball back in four plays. From there, it was two plays later before quarterback Ryan Busta danced into the end zone from 1 yard away. With the two-point play, it was 16-0 with 8:29 left in the first.
