Despite missing a few athletes, the Turkey Valley girls track team still had a great night Friday night at the North Butler Invite.
The Trojans finished third in team standings with 90 points. South Hardin was the champion with 97 points while Saint Ansgar had 94.
Turkey Valley had two gold medals, and both were produced by the lone senior on the team. Chloe Reicks was the winner in both the discus and shot put. She threw a best 110 feet, 8 inches in the discus, then followed that with a 35 feet, 3.25 put performance in the shot.
Johanna Blazek was a two-time silver honoree. She came up just short in the 100-meter dash, clocking in at 13.86 seconds. She went around the track in the 400-meter dash in 1:04.61.
