With a big meet on tap, the Turkey Valley boys track team put up strong numbers at the Charles City Invite.
The meet was split into two divisions – one for larger schools and one for smaller. In the gray division (smaller schools), the Trojans finished second overall with 111.25 points. Saint Ansgar won the team title with 170 points.
The Trojans won three events, with Wyatt Blazek being a part of all three gold medals. He was the sprint champion, winning the 100-meter dash in 11.76 seconds and then the 200-meter dash in 23.60 seconds. He was the opening leg of the 4x100, which won first in 46.35 seconds. He combined with Cale Reicks, Will Einwalter and Cody Hackman.
