Battle of the nation's best goes to Decorah

If it were a college game, ESPN would have been there.

Instead, Decorah baseball fans got to witness a battle in person between the two winningest coaches in the nation Tuesday night at Olejniczak Field.
When the final strike had been called, it was Decorah Coach Dennis Olejniczak who notched two more wins in his already impressive belt as the Vikings opened up the 2013 season with two wins over Kee High of Lansing.
Schultz stands at 1,699 career wins. Olejniczak now has 1,294 career victories, 1,286 coming while at Decorah.
