No worries, Decorah baseball fans, Head Coach Dennis Olejniczak will be back in the dugout next season.

Olejniczak confirmed he has returned his contract for next season, which will be his 51st with the team.

"You're going to have to put up with me another year. God willing, things will work out that way," he said following the team's substate final loss to Clear Lake 6-3 Wednesday night. "It's so much fun to be around young people that want to be doing what they're involved in. It's enjoyable to be around young people that want to get help, are willing to accept help to grow, to be beyond what they already are. We have those people in our baseball program and beyond the baseball program."

During his 50 years leading the Vikes, Olejniczak has compiled a 1,311-482 record.
