Seven members of the Luther college wrestling team were named to the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference All-Conference team.

This is the first year for the All-Iowa Conference team. It's composed of 30 grapplers who placed in the top three at the NCAA Division III Central Region Championships. Wartburg led the conference in picks on the list with 10.

Honorees include Evan Obert, a sophomore 133-pounder from Genoa, Wis., who finished third at the regional meet and eighth at the national tournament. Kyle Windquist is a senior 141-pounder from Big Rapids, Mich. He took second at regionals and eighth at the national tournament.

From Denmark, Iowa, Dakota Gray is a 149-pound freshman who took fourth at the regional tournament. Sophomore Garret Bonte, 165 pounds, is from Glenwood City, Wis. He finished second at regionals and competed at the national tournament.

Ossian's Jayden DeVilbiss is a sophomore 174-pounder who won his weight bracket at the regional tournament and competed at nationals. Trent Flegel, a senior from Alma, Mich., took third at 197 pounds at regionals and finished eighth at nationals. Heavyweight Nick Pearch is a sophomore from Stilwell, Kan., who took third at regionals and also competed at nationals.

The Iowa Conference MVP is Kenny Anderson, a 133-pounder form Wartburg. The IIAC freshman of the year is James Buss, a heavyweight from Loras. The IIAC coaches of the year are Jim Miller and Eric Keller from Wartburg.
