Decorah High School graduates Eric and James Ostlie were presented with letters at the annual Luther College football awards banquet, held Saturday, Feb. 22, in Peace Dining Room on the Campus of Luther College.
It was Eric’s second letter while James earned his first.
Eric, a senior, saw action in every game for the Norse on the defensive line. He was credited with 22 tackles that included three sacks. He was also credited with one fumble recovery.
James, a freshman, started every game for the Norse on the offensive line. He helped propel Head Coach Aaron Hafner’s flexbone option attack rush for 2,731 yards and 24 touchdowns during the 2013 campaign. The Norse averaged nearly five yards per carry.
Luther finished the year 2-8 under the first year head coach.
They are the sons of Paul and Lori Ostlie of Decorah.
