Dear Editor:

I take umbrage at the implication by Kirsten Olson that the students at Luther are so physically challenged that they can't walk from one building on the campus to another. Or, perhaps he's implying that they are mentally challenged and can't find their way there or order absentee ballots.

I believe that the students at Luther are 99 percent neither of these. I believe that they are perfectly capable of making it to a single voting place.

I have to believe that they are concerned enough about the waste of taxpayer money that they will tell Ben Steines to save that money for truly necessary problems. If they are not, then I despair for this country for they will someday be running it. God have mercy.
