Mae Jean (Jeanne) Bohr, 71, of Ossian, died suddenly Monday, April 29, 2013. Visitation was Thursday, May 2, from 3-8 p.m. with a 3 p.m. Catholic Daughters Rosary and an 8 p.m. parish scripture service at Schmitz-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Ossian. Visitation also was one hour before Mass at the Schmitz-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service Friday. Mass of Christian Burial was 12 p.m. Friday, May 3, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Ossian, with Monsignor Cletus Hawes as the celebrant. Interment followed at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Cemetery, Ossian. Schmitz-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Ossian, helped the family with the arrangements. Jeanne is survived by her husband, Mel of 49 years; five children: Jill (Nick) Hittner of Urbandale, Tim Bohr of Castalia, Jackie (Tom) Hartman of Urbandale, Craig (Renee) Bohr of Castalia and Terri Bohr of Grimes; nine grandchildren: Jonathan, Rebecca and Allison Hittner; Kayla, Zachary and Joseph Hartman; and Cassidy, Alyssa and Mitchell Bohr; her mother, Evelyn Wiltgen; two sisters: Rosalyn (James) DuRocher and Ellen Wiltgen; two brothers: Karl (Annette) Wiltgen and Jan (Patty) Wiltgen; a close uncle, Greg Wenthold and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Wiltgen; her mother and father-in law, Mary and Clem Bohr; a brother, Lee Wiltgen and a sister-in-law, Elaine Wiltgen.
