COLLEEN DANIELSON, 88, of Decorah, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, at the Winneshiek Medical Center in Decorah. Mass of Christian Burial is at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 15, at St. Benedict's Catholic Church in Decorah, with Rev. Phil Gibbs presiding. Burial is in the church cemetery in the spring. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Friday at the Schluter - Balik Funeral Home in Decorah, and also after 9:30 a.m. at the Church Saturday. There is a rosary at 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Colleen is survived by four daughters: Roberta Burdick, Hokah, Minn.; Janice Abramson, Winona, Minn.; Julie (Dan) Rose, Muscatine; and Barbara (Ray) Borglum, Winona, Minn.; two sons, William (Jo) Iverson Decorah; and Joseph (Veronica) Iverson, West Salem, Wis.; one daughter-in-law, Ann Sullivan, Coralville; two step-daughters, Jennifer Little of Hesper and Barbara (Tom) Knetter, Fond du Lac, Wis.; one step-son, Timothy (Vickie) Danielson, Monument, Colo.; 19 grandchildren: Naomi Thoman, Anne Knetter, Keely, Alanna, Mary and Sam Danielson, Taran Dufault, Eleni Riggs, Shane, Leif, Tess, Brandon, Nicole, Justin and Jacob Iverson, Brady Abramson, Colton Rose, Lech and Caitlin Literski; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters: Lorraine Moeller, Waterloo, Bonnie Headington, Waterloo and Sandy (Dale) Headington, Decorah; sister-in-law, Ella Anderson, Decorah; along with and many nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law: Evelyn Danielson, Swea City, Harriet Danielson, Ridgeway and Mildred Danielson, Burr Oak.
