Make a tiny little gourd drum necklace at the public library Monday, Aug. 4

Decorah Public Library is offering a free workshop on making a “Tiny Little Gourd Drum Necklace” Monday, Aug. 4, from 3-5 p.m.
Spinner gourds will be cut, sanded, painted and readied for a small goat hide piece that will be stretched and lashed on the top with linen. Then a cord and beads will be added for wearing.
The program is open to anyone age 10 and older, including curious adults.
