Kick off the summer family-style at Phelps Park Thursday, June 5, from 5:30-7 p.m.

The evening will be filled with fun activities and live music. Attendees are invited to bring a picnic, but food and refreshments  also will abe vailable for purchase on-site. 

In case of rain, festivities will be moved to the covered parking area at Decorah Public Library (202 Winnebago St.).

Family Fun Night begins at 5:30 p.m. with a summer carnival for ages 10 and under. Purchase tickets at the Carnival for 10 cents each. Booths cost 1-3 tickets. Booths include Sharp Shooters, Hole in One, Been Bag Toss, Face Painting, Bouncy Castle, and more.

Live music will be provided by Jeni Grouws throughout the evening.

The event is free and open to the public thanks to the sponsorship of Decorah Bank and Trust, in cooperation with Decorah Parks and Recreation and Decorah Public Library, and in conjunction with Lawn Chair Night.
