Drug charges were filed against Kenya O’Neal, 19, Hephzibah, Ga., and Marco Perez-Almanza, 19, Chicago, Ill., after the Decorah Police Department executed a narcotics search warrant on the Luther College campus Tuesday night.

Officers searched a residence at 9:30 p.m. and located about 21.7 grams of marijuana and other evidence consistent with the delivery of marijuana.

O’Neal was charged with conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance, a Class D felony, and Perez-Almanza was charged with possession of a controlled substance – marijuana, a serious misdemeanor.

The Decorah Police Department was assisted by the Winneshiek County Attorney’s office and the Winneshiek County Sheriff’s K-9 unit.
