The Decorah Police Department was involved in four narcotics investigations during the past week.
At about 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 5, the department followed up on an investigation at Luther College and located marijuana in a room in Dieseth Hall. Jason Hagen, 21, Ames, was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
At about 3:40 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, the department continued another investigation at Luther College and located marijuana and paraphernalia. Nicholas Brahs, 19, Wayzata, Minn, was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Officers executed a narcotics search warrant at 312 Grove St. in Decorah Friday. During the investigation, officers located evidence of narcotics and their use. Charges are pending, and the investigation is ongoing.
Jacob Wollinger, 20, Evansville, Wis., was charged with possession of a controlled substance after officers observed him smoking behind a local business in the Club Pyramid Plaza area at about 12:12 a.m. Sunday. Officers approached Wollinger and confiscated marijuana.
