The Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce (DACC) held their Annual Lighted Holiday Parade Friday, Dec. 6.

Although it was even colder than usual temperatures, attendance was still good. This year's theme "Christmas through the Decades" saw many creative decorated floats. The winner of this year's Best Theme was Fidelity Bank with their 1930s portrayal of "It's a Wonderful Life."

"Although it was a bit colder than usual, we still had great participation and so many wonderful contributors to making the parade successful. We thank everyone who braved the cold by having and float or attending the parade." Nikki Brevig, DACC executive director said. "It's a wonderful holiday tradition and we enjoy hosting it each year."

The Annual Lighted Parade is traditionally hosted on the first Friday in December. The theme is developed through a committee and staff of the chamber. The DACC offers several events and activities during the holiday season. For more information visit decorahareachamber.com.
