The Dry Run Watershed Improvement Association will host a field day Thursday, Aug. 7, from 10 a.m. – noon at the John Lubke farm west of Decorah. 
Lubke has a controlled stream crossing for his cows to cross through Dry Run Creek and the field day is for anyone interested in learning more about constructing one on their own farm.
The Lubke farm address 2350 270th Ave., Ridgeway. The location is seven miles west of Decorah on Iowa Highway 9, turn south onto 270th Ave. The farm is the second on the left, about one mile from the highway. From Ridgeway, the turn onto 270th Ave. is about 2 miles east on Hwy 9.
Todd Duncan from Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) will be on hand to discuss designs, cost share money available and other related topics.
The Dry Run Watershed project also has cost share funds available.
