Daniel Wildman's trial has been continued again.
The 23-year-old Cresco man has been incarcerated at the Winneshiek County Jail since last fall on three counts of attempted murder for discharging his 12-gauge shotgun at Cory Numedahl of Calmar, Andrew Massman of West Union and David Cheney of Calmar, as they were exiting their vehicle in Calmar early Oct. 16.
During a Friday hearing on a defense motion to suppress evidence, including Wildman's confession, defense counsel requested a continuance in the trial which was granted by Judge John Bauercamper. Wildman's trial, which had been set for May 22 is now set for Wednesday, June 26, in Winneshiek County District Court. A pretrial conference is slated for Tuesday, June 11.
