The Winneshiek Energy District (WED) is holding a community round table discussion about installing solar PV Wednesday, July 10, as part of its monthly energy breakfast series.

It is at 7:30 a.m. in the basement of T-Bocks.

This round table will consist of a panel of local solar installers, financial advisors, tax advisors and utility representatives. WED invites the public to attend this "one stop shop" for gathering all the information needed to get a solar project up and running for your business, home, farm or other.

"The time for installing solar energy is now especially due to falling solar panel prices, increased rebate and tax incentives, and rising energy costs. A substantial number of solar arrays have gone up in the past few years and we'd love to see others take advantage of the incredible economic opportunities currently available," a news release from the WED stated.
