The 45-year-old Decorah man is charged with vehicular homicide/operating while intoxicated in connection with a Sept. 28 accident that resulted in the death of a Calmar woman. The accident occurred in a Highway 52 construction zone.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, Jermier was northbound on his motorcycle two miles north of Calmar at about 4 p.m. when he crossed into the southbound lane, losing control. His passenger, Trish Taylor, 44, Calmar, was killed.
