The Gundersen Lutheran - Decorah Clinic is teaming up with the Decorah Schools Wellness Committee to host Family Fun Fair from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, May 10, at the Gundersen Lutheran - Decorah Clinic.

The event will include Gundersen Lutheran's annual Bike Safety Fair. Children through fifth grade are encouraged to bring their bicycles and participate in a bicycle obstacle course and other bicycle educational stations. The first 50 pre-registrants will receive a free bike helmet, donated by a grant from Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. To register call 387-5521.

A Family Wellness Fair will be held in the Gundersen Lutheran - Decorah Clinic lobby and will feature informational booths discussing: radon testing from Winneshiek County Public Health; audio testing for MP3 players; dermatology - skin damage; podiatry - fracture care and routine nail care; diabetes education and management; behavioral health - medication management and adult/child ADHD; concussion in the teenage athlete; blood pressure checks; digital mammography and more.

A 5K Fun Run/Walk will begin at 5:30 p.m. Registration is available at facebook.com/dcsdwellness. There will also be a family scavenger hunt sponsored by NE Iowa Food and Fitness Initiative, tours of MedLink AIR, giveaway items and healthy snacks provided by Oneota Co-op.

The night will be capped off by the Minutes in Motion celebration at 6:15 p.m. Everyone who participated in Gundersen Lutheran's Minutes in Motion Activity Challenge is invited to the celebration for a chance to win prizes.
