Benefit for Amy Monroe, family Sept. 15 in Decorah

A benefit to help Amy Monroe and her family is Sunday, Sept. 15, from 1-4 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Decorah.
Monroe is a single mom who is battling Stage 4 breast cancer.
She is a social worker who has spent many years helping area children, families and individuals.
Admission is a freewill donation. Lunch is provided by B.E. Catered of Waukon.
The benefit includes a silent auction and raffle for a queen-size quilt featuring local points of interest.
Cash donations can be made at Viking State Bank, 321 W. Water St., Decorah.
