The Magic of Christmas holiday festival is Friday through Sunday, Nov. 30 - Dec. 2, in Ossian and Calmar .
Guests start the weekend by enjoying the opening gala and hors d'oeuvres buffet Friday, Nov. 30, from 6 - 8 p.m. at Silver Springs Golf and Country Club.
The event features a large array of decorated Christmas trees, wreaths and holiday displays and collections. In addition, the evening features an hors d'ouevres buffet, wine tasting, chocolates and holiday music.
Tickets are $5 for the evening.
Saturday, Dec. 1, features four holiday home tours as well as viewing at the clubhouse from 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Participants will visit the home of Joe and Roxanne Helgeson and Stavanger Lutheran church in Ossian, and the homes of Chad Heying and Richard and Cindy Cunningham in Calmar, all decorated for the Christmas season.
Tickets are $10 per person and are good for all locations. A soup, salad and dessert luncheon is offered at the clubhouse for $7 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 2, wraps up the celebration with one last chance to enjoy all of the festive displays at the clubhouse -- with coffee and rolls available from 8:30 a.m.- noon with a free will offering.
Friday or Saturday's tickets are good for Sunday admission to the clubhouse. Enjoy another opportunity to visit the beautifully decorated homes from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m., with tickets available either at the door or at the clubhouse.
Be sure to take the opportunity to purchase a chance to win the large Santa print, "Promise of Christmas"; a lighted nativity and a metal nativity sculpture from local artist Max Krivachek.
Advance tickets for the weekend's events are available at De Sales School or Blooms on Main in Ossian, as well as at Silver Springs Golf and Country Club and any home tour location during the weekend.
