The Driftless chapter of Trout Unlimited will hold its monthly meeting in the basement of T-Bocks Thursday, Oct. 3, at 7 p.m.

Beginning at 7:30, Bill Kalishek, fisheries biologist for the DNR, will give his assessment of the trout streams since the historic June flooding, including results of electroshock sampling in area streams.

The meetings of Trout Unlimited are open to anyone interested in the maintenance/restoration of the cold water watersheds in Northeast Iowa. For more information: Iowadriftless.org.
