There were 17 days with measurable precipitation last month; average is between 10 and 11 days. Comparing last month with all Junes from 1894-2014 (data is missing for 1909 and 1921):
• Seven were wetter and 110 were drier
• The wettest was 2008, 14.10 inches
• The driest was 1910, .05 inch
There were no record temperatures set last month. The average temperature was 70.1 degrees, 2.1 degrees warmer than average.
The warmest temperature was 88 degrees June 1, and the coldest was 43 degrees June 13.
Comparing last month with all Junes since 1894 (data is missing for 1909 and 1921):
• 27 Junes were warmer and 91 Junes were cooler
• The warmest average was 76.2 degrees in 1911
• The coldest average was 61.5 degrees in 1926

Past year
Bernatz reported seven of the past 12 months were cooler than average, but June is the second month in a row with an above-average mean temperature. Six of the past 12 months were wetter than average, he said.
