RENTAL AUCTION - FARM ACREAGE
OWNER: Aase Haugen Properties
LOCATION: Approximately 66 tillable acres, more or less, in Section 9, in Decorah Township of Winneshiek County (USDA Farm Service Agency Tract No. 4787 and Tract No. 4788).
BIDS: Written bids shall be submitted to Timothy C. Lynch, c/o Lynch Law Office, at 206 W. Main St., PO Box 216, Decorah, IA 52101, prior to October 15, 2014. The top five (5) bids submitted will be entitled to attend a private auction, if necessary, at Lynch Law Office. Notice of the auction, if required, will be given to the top five (5) bidders. If an acceptable bid is submitted, no auction will be required. The owner has the right to reject any and all bids.
TERMS: Bids will be made on a total annual rent basis, not on a per acre basis. Rent will be paid one-half on or before May 1, 2015 and the second-half balance on or before November 1, 2015.
GENERAL: Information packages, including a copy of a proposed Lease Form to be utilized, map of acreage and report of commodities farm summary from past year, may be picked up at Lynch Law Office or may be mailed upon request. All information as to yields and acres are subject to verification by bidder. A successful bidder will be entitled to rent the farm for two (2) crop years, terminating on or before March 1, 2017.
