Winneshiek Medical Center - Full Time RN - Quality Management: Challenging position available in our Quality Management Department for an RN. This position is responsible for the collection, management and analysis of quality data and the preparation of quality reports. In addition, the Quality Management Nurse participates in the development, implementation and measurement of clinical practice guidelines and work flows that increase the probability of desired patient outcomes. The Quality Management Nurse works closely with the information technology department and will also collaborate with inpatient, outpatient and clinic departments throughout the medical center. Current license to practice as an RN in the state of Iowa; BSN preferred. Proven ability to understand, analyze, and interpret data and regulatory standards with a minimum of three years clinical experience required. EMR experience from a car provider and an application perspective beneficial. Must be a team player with the abilty to communicate with all staff. Generally day hours. Salaried, exempt position. Assistant Director of Annual Giving: Luther College is accepting applications for a full-time Assistant Director of Annual Giving. The Assistant Director plans, directs, and coordinates components of the annual giving program, in concert with the Director of Annual Giving and Vice President for Development. Duties include: plan, coordinate and evaluate the young alumni giving program and the President’s Council First Decade Society (alumni within ten years of graduation), including all communications, publications, tracking, volunteer training and management and donor recognition; serve as primary researcher and work in coordination with the Director of Development Research for prospective young alumni major donors and work closely with development officer based in the Twin Cities area to identify new donors assist with general direct mail and email appeals; plan, coordinate and evaluate the 10-year and 25-year reunion giving/celebration programs supervise the Student Engagement Coordinator, student workers and volunteers.
A bachelor’s degree and excellent oral and written communication skills are required. At least two years of experience in higher education development is preferred. Applicant must be able to read and interpret relevant documents and reports, write routine plans, reports, and correspondence, and speak effectively one-on-one or before groups of constituents or employees of the college. Applicant must exhibit strong skills in using the Internet and e-communications; be able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, and be able to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry possess excellent skills in analysis, organization and planning and be able to take initiative, work independently and manage multiple tasks.
