Winneshiek Medical Center - Home Health & Hospice Secretary
Part time, 32 hours/week: The Medical Secretary for Home Health and Hospice is responsible for providing clerical, administrative and general office duties to provide support to the Home Health and Hospice staff. Duties include answering phones to the department, coordinating communication between patients, families, and staff, managing schedules for home visits, maintaining patient roster, gathering data and preparing reports for submission to various regulatory organizations. The secretary will also be responsible for collecting documentation from the medical record as required for insurance and billing. High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a medical secretary program or comparable program strongly preferred. Previous experience in a home health and/or hospice environment strongly preferred. Day hours Monday - Friday.
