Accountant - seeking a self-starter with the following abilities: detail oriented
strong communication skills (oral & written); organized analysis strong accounting skills; great customer service skills needed to manage our accounting needs. Technical skills should include Advanced Excel and experience with at least one accounting package. Previous working knowledge of Peachtree is a plus! A minimum of a two-year degree or equivalent is required, along with at least 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience or a 4-yr accounting/finance degree.

Thrift Store Supervisor – manage the operations of the Spectrum Thrift Stores in Decorah & Cresco. Must possess the following skills: fiscal responsibility retail experience; self-starter with strong organizational skills; knowledge of ecommerce a plus. Great customer service skills and prior supervisory experience and a willingness to help others are required. Manage a great team!

Recycling Coordinator – manage recycling operations at both Spectrum Thrift Stores and the main site. Assist with general store operation duties; operate textile baler; good driving record and ability to assist with building and grounds maintenance duties required.

PT Store Clerk – Decorah.  General store duties including opening/closing; operate cash register; prepare items for sale; assist with donations; excellent customer service skills a must! Come join a great team!

Adult Literacy ESOL Instructor. Part-time position (4.5 hours a week) in Postville. To engage, teach, and assist adult ESOL students in improving their English skills (reading, listening, conversation, and writing). Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, previous Pre-K-12 or post-secondary teaching experience preferred. Ability to teach English language and explain its structure. Ability to relate to multicultural/multilingual students and staff in a positive manner.

Adult Literacy Spanish/English HSED Instructor. Part-time position (4.5 hours a week) in Postville. Work with learners to help them achieve individualized goals, which may include: gaining a HiSet high school equivalency diploma, improving English literacy, brushing up on basic skills for college or work. Ability to converse in Somali a plus. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, previous Pre-K-12 or post-secondary teaching experience preferred. Ability to teach high-school level math, reading, writing, social studies, and science in Spanish. Ability to relate to multicultural/multilingual students and staff in a positive manner.
