(2nd and 3rd Shifts) Heading and Secondary machine operator positions involve operating fastener manufacturing equipment under supervision. The operator will be responsible for learning the skills necessary to maintain production requirements and quality standards of various fasteners.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Mechanical Aptitude. Ability to use all gages and gaging techniques required. Ability to operate equipment and perform machine setups. Ability to consistently meet production and quality standard. Ability to demonstrate the knowledge and understanding of all required operator documentation. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to identify routine problem causation and correct routine problems. Apply basic math skills for blue print reading, gaging and SPC. Ability to gain the understanding of the manufacturing process and machine requirements to perform work assignments. Must be available to work overtime. Must comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and practices.
Preferred Skills & Abilities: Previous problem solving experience. Previous experience operating various types of manufacturing equipment.
