MACHINING B OPERATOR - Ability to set up and operate a CNC machining center, CNC rod bender, vertical mill, quick tapper, and spot welder in accordance with tool set up instructions, engineering drawings and specifications.
CHROME PLATING PARTS HANGER - Ability to load and unload parts on the racks for chrome plating and inspect parts for quality against established standards.
STAGER - Ability to locate and stage inventory as required for production.  Prior warehousing and forklift experience a plus.  Must be computer literate.
2ND & 3RD SHIFT ASSEMBLERS - Ability to complete assembly operation on products. Manufacturing assembly experience preferred.  Ability to interpret blue prints a plus.
FINISHER A OPERATOR - Ability to set up and operate manual, automatic and robotic buffing machines in the timely production of finished parts.
STAMPING B OPERATOR - Ability to operate stamping presses and related equipment.  Operates equipment activated automatically or manually in punching, counter-sinking, bending, cutting, etc., in the production of steel parts.

Preservation Garden Crew - Deadline:  Open until filled. Seed Savers Exchange seeks an individual to support the needs of Field staff with all grow-out and seed regeneration projects in the field.  
Responsibilities:  Harvesting fruits, vegetables, grains and seeds; threshing, winnowing, and conditioning seeds; transplanting and direct seeding crops by hand; maintaining plants, including  watering, mulching, weeding, and staking; preparing gardens and beds for seeding and transplanting by hand;setting up and maintaining fences, trellises, and pollination cages; collecting, reporting, and entering field data in a timely manner; cleaning up fields at the end of the growing season by removing plant residue, fencing, trellises, and other equipment; maintaining an orderly equipment shed; other duties as directed by the Garden Crew Leader or Field Manager.
Qualifications:  Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, flexible team player.  Hands-on experiences with vegetable crop production, and organic agricultural practices are preferred.  Ability to perform field work in wide ranging weather conditions.  Ability to perform physical activity: lifting (up to 100 lbs assisted); carrying (50 lbs), bending frequently, climbing, pushing, and pulling.  Ability to operate roto-tillers, weed-whackers, and other small farm equipment.  Applicants must have a valid driver's license.
