HELP WANTED: Temporary Work – 10 Job Openings Starting: 08/07/2017 and ending: 12/21/2017 - We need seasonal employees to help sort, grade and pack apples. Employees will need to assist with pressing apples into apple cider and in making apple donuts according to food safety standards. Employee will need to do various apple tree tasks, such as; tree training by attaching the tree to posts, tying down branches with string and or thinning apples from the trees.  Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. for up to 20 feet. Must be able to stand for 8-12 hours per day on concrete floor.  Require 3 months’ experience. Food safety standards must be followed in all areas of orchard employment. The employer, Sunrise Orchards, Inc from Gays Mills, WI will pay the adverse effect wage rate of $12.75/hr. The employer guarantees ¾ of the workdays in the work contract. The work tools, supplies and equipment are provided without cost to the worker, if applicable. Free housing is provided to workers who cannot reasonably return to their permanent residence at the end of the workday. Transportation and subsistence expenses to the worksite will be provided or paid by the employer upon completion of 50% of the work contract or earlier. ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES MANAGER - The Environmental Services Department at Winneshiek Medical Center has an immediate opening for a full time, salaried, exempt position as the manager of environmental services. This position is responsible for the planning, organizing, and developing of overall operation of the housekeeping, janitorial and linen services in accordance with federal, state, local, and TJC guidelines regarding sanitary and safety procedures. Responsible for staffing, scheduling, training and developing environmental services staff. High school diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in related field required with demonstrated skills in written and verbal communication, organization, customer service, and teamwork. Computer skills with ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel required.
