Water Street Music Series: 'Bach, Beethoven and Beer' is Friday, Oct. 11, at T-Bock's

Water Street Music Series will hold its second event of the season "Bach, Beethoven and Beer," Friday, Oct. 11 at the T-Bock's Upstairs.
The concert is $10 for adults, $5 for students.
The evening of classical music by two of the greatest composers - Bach and Beethoven - will be hosted by Luther College music professor Dr. Jim Griesheimer, bringing the classical world alive in the newly-renovated T-Bock's venue.
Luther College music faculty Heather Armstrong (oboe) David Judisch, (voice) Kathy Reed (harpsichord) and Rebecca Shaffer, (French Horn), collaborate with Luther College students and staff including Katherine Haller, Katie Seidel, Marita May and Sara Pecinovsky to bring a full program of classics to downtown Decorah.
Selections include Ludwig van Beethoven's Wind Octet in Eb Major, Op. 103, the violin Partita No. 1 in B Minor, BWV 1002, by Johann Sebastian Bach and two arias, Gott ist gerecht in seinen Werken (BWV 20) and Gott, bei deinem starken Schützen (BWV 14) also by J.S. Bach.
