BJ Schumacher, former 2006 world champion bull rider who qualified for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in eight of his nine full seasons, will perform at the 2013 Winneshiek County Fair.

After a decade of riding 2,000-pound bucking bulls in arenas all over North America, Schumacher is these days riding two bulls at a time, Roman style, as the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Associations's (PRCA) newest specialty act.

After working with veteran showman Blake Goode in Texas, Schumacher will bring Goode's trained Brahma bulls, Apache and Geronimo, to perform Saturday, July 13, during the Bulls and Barrels rodeo event at the Winneshiek County Fair. He also will be available to sign autographs.

Schumacher finished his bull riding career with earnings of $1,200,001, the third highest total by a bull rider in PRCA history, behind J.W. Harris and Tuff Hedeman.
