The popular annual patriotic concert, presented by the Decorah High School Band Department, is Tuesday, May 20, at 11 a.m. on Washington Street in downtown Decorah.
The concert will feature both the symphonic band led by director Matt Cody and the wind ensemble under the direction of James Fritz.
The concert will feature a wide range of patriotic music. “This is the opportunity for the DHS band department to acknowledge the sacrifices of all of our veterans,” Fritz said. “Our students look forward to presenting this concert each year.”
Audience members are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. The concert is free and open to the public.
In case of rain, the event will be held in the Decorah High School auditorium.
