Benjamin Yates, Luther College adjunct faculty in music, will perform a trombone recital at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, in the Noble Recital Hall of the Jenson-Noble Hall of Music on the Luther campus.

The recital is open to the public with no charge for admission.

The recital will feature a varied program including works from the early 1800s to the present, representing composers from Germany, Croatia and Australia.

Brad Schultz, Luther adjunct faculty in music, piano and organ, will collaborate on the performance. John Cord, assistant professor of music, will perform on trumpet for Yates's performance of Boris Blacher's "Divertimento for Trumpet, Trombone and Piano."
