'Race to the Taste' being rescheduled, due to floods

Due to flooding concerns lastweekend, the first annual "Race to the Taste" fundraiser for The Spectrum Network, originally slated for Sunday, June 23, is being rescheduled.
Details will be announced when available.
The event includes a scavenger hunt/race, live music by local musicians, a raffle and "Strolling Tastes of Winneshiek County" - featuring five local chefs/restaurants, along with local "celebrity chefs."
The chefs will offer a variety of special dishes using locally grown ingredients as much as possible.
Attendees will have the opportunity to sample the items and also to vote on their favorite taste with dollars.
The winning taste's chef and restaurant will receiving a traveling plague signifying the achievement of being the tastiest.
Admission is $25 for the scavenger hunt and strolling dinner. This price includes a T-shirt. For the dinner only, admission is $20.
Tickets for the raffle are $1 each, and are on sale at The Spectrum Network or The Spectrum Thrift Store in Cresco.

The funds go to support The Spectrum Network's programs and services, furthering the organization's mission of providing customized solutions for individuals (with disabilities and other barriers to work and life) so they can live and work in an integrated community.
